Music Lesson Subsidy

The Better Together Music Society provides subsidized private music instruction for persons with disabilities. Partnering with local music teachers and schools of music, these students receive weekly half-hour lessons in their instrument of choice, with our teachers currently able to provide instruction in voice, piano, guitar and percussion.

PLEASE NOTE: We are currently at capacity for music lesson subsidy students, and unfortunately, we have temporarily paused all intake for our subsidy as we work to secure sustainable funding for the program.

“This is my 25th year with the BrailleTones Choir! It has been a fantastic experience for me. I am very happy that the Choir embraces everyone, even in our declining years. Music lessons are fun. Learning keeps me able to keep up with younger members.”
